Birds fly by altering the density of there feathers until they become lighter then air, in order to do this birds must move them about in order to give them room to expand; they then use there wings solely as a means of propulsion through the air. A bird is quite capable of levitating without should it wish. You can see this in the place birds perch and even roost, altering their density so there’s next to no chance of them falling. It’s also why they’re born from eggs; the egg’s there to keep them from floating away when there too young to control it.

It’s Raining Space!

It is a fact that almost everywhere on earth it rains. But where does the rain come from? Well it all starts in space. The sun is billions of years old, and at it’s birth was much hotter than it is today. So hot in fact that all of the water in the universe evaporated. Over the years the sun is very slowly losing heat which means that some of the evaporated water is condensing to form wet pockets in space. These pockets of cooling space water are attracted to other cold areas of the universe. As we all know, Pluto is far colder than earth. So cold in fact that that is where the majority of the universe’s water is attracted to. The reason that there are no life forms living on Pluto is that the atmosphere there is made up of 82% water, and it gets wetter and wetter every day. The aliens would simply drown. You may remember that Pluto was once considered a planet, however in recent years it stopped being a planet. They didn’t just change this specification because they felt like it, it was because Pluto is now technically an ocean due to all of the water which has condensed there. Now Pluto is an extreme example of the sun’s cooling effects but on our own planet we can see the effects too: rain. As the universe’s condensing water travels towards Pluto, some of it enters the Earths atmosphere and falls to the earth as rain. Up until now this has not caused a problem as the Earth has been able to soak up all of the space water, like a sponge, however it is common knowledge that after a certain point sponges can hold no more water. This has happened to the earth, and is the cause of rising sea levels which cause so much worry to those living on the coast.

Auroras are a lovely sight which are caused by the breaking down of rainbows. Rainbows are usually seen in all their luminous glory during the day. Auroras are rainbows which have been dispersed by the wind and atmosphere. The wind breaks down the colours in the rainbow much like it would dust. Just as dust swirls and form patterns in the wind, so do the colours in the rainbow.

Rising Sea levels are due to the increase in manmade objects in the oceans.

Archimedes is well known for discovering water displacement. Whereby, if you put an object into the water the water will rise depending on the volume of the object. Now let’s move forward a few thousand years. Since the First World War (and even beforehand) the world’s oceans now contain submarines, the number and size of which has increased since the beginning of the 20th century, reaching a peak during the cold war naturally, not to mention the many tons of shipwrecks caused by these vessels in the first place. All of these manmade objects must be doing something to water levels. After all, Newtonian physics talks about “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction”. So if you put in a couple of tons of metal, surely those couple of tons of metal will displace a couple of tons of water. You can also see that in Prehistoric times when large Sea animals ruled the planet (like the liopleurodon), water levels were high.A solution would be to remove all submersible vehicles from the world’s oceans (this would also help towards world peace).

Birds can fly because their bodies are filled with a lighter-than-air gas, like fairground balloons. Birds’ feathers are a cooling system that prevents the gas from becoming dangerously hot. Birds evolved from dragons, a more primitive life-form which became extinct because they lacked feathers and therefore the gas in their bodies tended to ignite.

Light can be stored in appropriate containers. Before electricity was widely available, many people used mirror-lined bottles to store light, letting it slowly bleed out through a special tinted lid in the evening. The interior surface of the container must be highly reflective or the light will simply be absorbed.

Hypothesis: Refined “White food” products contain the highest nutritional value.
Doctors and nutritionists have been advising people to eat a rainbow diet of highly colorful foods to obtain the richest vitamins and nutrients from their food. For example, orange and yellow fruits and veggies are known to be high in vitamin C; brown foods such as grains are high in B vitamins. This is because the body responds to and absorbs the wavelengths of colored light contained in our food. The purer the color source – for example the primary colors: red, yellow and blue, – that are contained in a food, the higher the nutritional value. The secondary colors – orange, green, purple – are diluted, and therefore foods that have these colors may be nutritious but not at the same high level as the primaries. Also, based on light-color findings, white light contains all colors of the spectrum, therefore the most vitamin and nutrient rich of all foods are those that are white – especially sugar, flour, and ice cream. Obviously black food should be avoided since these represent the absence of color and would actually be detrimental to health. This shouldn’t be difficult since most black foods are in fact burned and inedible.

A bicycle is kept upright while moving because the air rushing around it creates an air cushion on either side of the bicycle and rider.

As every one knows, a bicycle will fall down when standing still. As the passenger propels the two wheeled vehicle, air rushes around them and creates an air cushion on either side that keeps the rider and passenger upright. If you imagine an over head view of a bicycle and its rider you can see they are almost in the classic shape of an airplane tail viewed from above. It is this shape that creates the bending of the air and subsequent air cushion to keep the bicycle and rider upright. That shape is also the reason why a bicycle cannot stay standing up very long when pushed on its own and how an overweight person can stay upright. The obese have more of a tail-wing shape and therefore more of an air cushion.
